Frank Lloyd Wright in Japan

About Project

Website features Wright’s 1905 photographs of Japan donated to the Frank Lloyd Wright Trust by David and Gladys Wright. Holle Inc. had the honor of working with the Trust to put together this online exhibit of Wright’s personal photographs, taken over one hundred years ago with fifty five images in all. David Bagnall, Curator and Director of Interpretation, contacted Holle in the Spring of 2016 in hopes to put together a stunning website displaying the work. Initially six different home page designs were presented, Bagnall decided on this stunningly minimalistic layout allowing the photos to jump off the page. The sites is interactive and entertaining, including timeline, curator essays and map to give point of reference.
